Day 1 : Arrival in Hanoi (L.D)

Arrive in Hanoi. Airport welcome by NTS guides. Transfer to hotel in air-conditioned vehicle. A panoramic sightseeing tour around Hanoi city visits the ancient bridge of Long Bien (former bridge of Paul  Dumer), the Dong Xuan market, the opera and the Indira Grandi garden, the central post-office, the ancient Indochina Bank, the Ba Dinh plaza, the quarter of Embassies. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Tran Quoc pagoda, the Quan Thanh temple, the History Museum. There is  a 45-minutes tour of the 36 guilds of the famous Old Quarter by cyclo, the Vietnamese version of the rickshaw. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

 

Day 2 : Ha Noi (B.L.D)

Breakfast. Leave hotel for a morning  sightseeing around Hanoi which includes the One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh ‘s Mausoleum, the former Governor of Indochina’s Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s home, the ethnographic museum. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the 11th century Temple of Literature, the Museum of Fine-Arts, the Lake of the Restored Sword, Ngoc Son Temple. In the evening, enjoy a water puppet show. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

 

Day 3 : Ha Noi – Cat Ba via Hai Phong – Overnight onboard the junk (B.L.D)

After breakfast, drive to Hai Phong. City tour of Hai Phong, the biggest port city of the North of Vietnam. Lunch in Hai Phong and then embark the hydrofoil to Cat Ba Islands.  In the afternoon, take an excursion to the National Reserve of Cat Ba. Free & easy until boarding the sailing junk for dinner & overnight.

 

Day 4 : Ha Long – Ha Noi (B.L.D)

Breakfast on board, take a cruise by sailing junk from Cat Ba Islands to Ha Long Bay through the limestone cliffs and emerald water of wonderful  Halong Bay, the World  Heritage. Seafood lunch on board. Arrive at Halong tourist harbor, disembark and drive back to Hanoi for dinner & overnight.

 

Day 5 : Ha Noi – Departure (B) fffffff

Shopping and free time until the transfer to the Noi Bai airport for the departure flight.
