Day 1 :  Arrival -Ho Chi Minh City (L.D)

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Airport welcome by NTS guides. Transfer to the hotel in the air-conditioned vehicle. A city tour includes  two fine examples of French colonial architecture: the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office; the photostop at the Palace of The Reunification. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, discover Cholon, the city’s Chinatown, with a visit to Thien Hau pagoda. Stop at Binh Tay market, the largest and famous one in Ho Chi Minh City for  30 - minute free shopping time. The tour ends with the visit to the pagoda of Giac Lam and a lacquer ware factory, where guests can withness the talent of Vietnamese handicraftsmen. Dinner with a traditional Vietnamese musical and dance performance. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh city – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B.L.D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the History Museum before proceeding to the Mekong Delta with a stopover at the Cao Dai temple in Ben Luc.  Arrive in My Tho town and visit the famous pagoda of Vinh Trang. Enjoy a nice boat trip along Tien River, the largest branch of the Mekong River, to the Turtle Island.  Stop at family-run workshops producing coconut-candies, handicrafts made from coconut wood. Continue the boat trip along An Khanh canal with stopover at fruit garden to taste seasonal fruits, honey tea and enjoy a short local musical performance. Ride the local sampans along the narrow canals to come back the boat. Lunch at  Mekong Rest Stop restaurant. Drive to Can Tho which is the central and biggest city in the Mekong delta. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Can Tho.

 

Day 3 : Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B.L.D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Early morning boat trip along Hau River to discover the exotic floating market of Cai Rang. The whole picture of attractive local life and culture shall be gradually exposed to your witness. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City via Vinh Long town for lunch. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

 

Day 4 : Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Departure (B.L)

Breakfast at your hotel. Excursion to Cu Chi tunnels, 75 km northwest of Saigon. The tunnels are a 250 kilometers long network dug during the war. Stop at a rice paper workshop. Lunch. Free time until the transfer to the airport of Tan San Nhat for the departure flight.
