Day 1: Arrival in Ha Noi (L.D)

Arrive in Hanoi. Airport welcome by NTS guide. Transfer to the hotel in air-conditioned vehicle. A panoramic sightseeing tour around Hanoi City includes the ancient bridge of Long Bien (former bridge of Paul  Dumer), the Dong Xuan market, the Opera House and the Indira Grandi Park, the central post office, the ancient Indochina Bank, the Ba Dinh Plaza, the quarter of Embassies. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Tran Quoc pagoda, the Quan Thanh Temple, the History Museum  and there is a 45-minute tour of the 36 guilds of the famous Old Quarter by cyclo, the Vietnamese version of the rickshaw. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

 

Day 2 : Ha Noi (B.L.D)

Breakfast. Leave the hotel for a morning  sightseeing around Hanoi to the One Pillar Pagoda, President Ho Chi Minh‘s Mausoleum and His stilt house, the former Governor of Indochina’s Palace, the ethnographic Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the 11th century Temple of Literature, the Museum of Fine-Arts, the Lake of the Restored Sword, Ngoc Son Temple. In the evening, enjoy a water puppet show. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

 

Day 3: Ha Noi – Hoa Lu – Ninh Binh - Hanoi (B.L.D)

Drive to amazing Hoa Lu area which is likened to “earthly Halong Bay”. Travel peacefully by row boat through the rice field and immense rocks like sugar loaves thus far the Van Lam village. Visit Bich Dong cave and temples dedicated to the two ancient Vietnamese Kings ( Dinh and Le). Lunch. Drive to Phat Diem for a visit to the enormous stone Church and stroll through Kim Son village, famous for bamboo and rattan mats. Drive back to Hanoi for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 4 : Hanoi – Ha Long (B.L.D)

Breakfast. Free morning until lunch then drive to Ha Long Bay, the World Heritage. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Ha Long.

 

Day 5 : Ha Long – Ha Noi  - Hue (by train) (B.L.D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Embark a sailing junk for an excursion on the emerald water of Ha Long Bay that look like a paradise comprising more than 3,000 islands and islets on an area of 1,500 square kilometers. Lunch with seafood on board.Drive back to Ha Noi via Tu Son for a visit to the famous communal house of Dinh Bang village and to Den Do temple dedicated to the Ly Thai To King. Arrive in Hanoi for dinner and transfer to the Ha Noi railway station to take train “SE1” to Hue (departure at 23:00, arrival at 10:44, distance: 688 km). Overnight on train.

 

Day 6 : Hue (B.L.D)

Arrival in Hue Railway Station at 10:44. Welcome by NTS’s guide and transfer to the hotel.  Enjoy a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the elaborate Mausoleums of former emperor Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. In the evening, enjoy royally costumed dinner with traditional music perfirmance of Hue (available for group of 10 pax up). Overnight at your hotel in Hue.

 

Day 7 : Hue – Hoi An (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel. Explore the Imperial Citadel and Royal Palace. Drive to Hoi An. Photo stop at the exotic Phu Loc fishing village and  Lang Co village. Have a spectacular Pass of Ocean Clouds. Lunch in Da Nang. Visit Cham museum where visitors will discover the biggest collection of Champa age-old cultures and fine-arts. Continue the road to Hoi An, stop at Non Nuoc to visit Marble Mountain. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

 

Day 8 : Hoi An – Nha Trang (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel. Explore Hoi An ancient town, recognized as the World Heritage by the UNESCO: Hoi An museum, ancient houses, Bridge Temple, Taoist Chinese temple, Hoi An market. Drive to Da Nang City for lunch and transfer to Da Nang railway station to take train “E 1” departing at 13:27 to Nha Trang. Dinner on board. Arrive at  Nha Trang railway station at 22:11. Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.

 

Day 9 : Nha Trang (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel. Take a short city tour and enjoy a boat trip in Nha Trang Bay to visit Tri Nguyen aquarium. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Ponagar tower dedicated to the Champa Mother of the Country. Continue the visit to Long Son Pagoda situated on a slope of Trai Thuy Mountain followed by a surprising visit to a farmer’s house outside. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Nha Trang.

 

Day 10 : Nha Trang – Da Lat (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Da Lat, a city situated at the height of 1,500 meters above the sea. Lunch. Visit the village of the Co Ho ethnic group, the botanic garden, the summer palace of the last emperor of Bao Dai. Stroll around Xuan Huong lake. Dinner and overnight in Da Lat.

 

Day 11 : Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh (B.L.D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Explore Dalat market, the lake of Tuyen Lam and Truc Lam pagoda, and then drive to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch at a local restaurant in Bao Loc. Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. Check-in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 12 : Ho Chi Minh city (B.L.D)

Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning, experience the art of Vietnamese cooking with your realization of one typical dish and lunch on the spot. In the afternoon, discover Cholon, the city’s Chinatown, with a visit to Thien Hau pagoda and Binh Tay market, the largest and famous one in Ho Chi Minh City. At Binh Tay market, there is 30 minutes free time for shopping. Visit the pagoda of Giac Lam and a lacquer ware factory, where guests can admire the talent of Vietnamese handicraft. Dinner with a traditional Vietnamese music and dance performance. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 13 : Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B.L)

Breakfast at hotel. Explore Saigon downtown: the Old Saigon Central Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, the old French Colonial Quarter. Lunch. Free time until the transfer to the Tan Son Nhat international airport for your departure.
