NTS-P5 GLIMPSE OF VIETNAM (10 DAYS / 09 NIGHTS WITH EXTENSION)

Day 1 : Arrival – Ha Noi (L.D)

Arrive in Ha Noi. Airport welcome by NTS guide with signboard. Transfer to hotel in air-conditioned vehicle. Visit the 11th century Temple of Literature, the Lake of the Restored Sword and the Temple of Ngoc Son. Lunch. In the afternoon, continue the city tour  to the History Museum, the Temple of Quan Thanh and the Pagoda of Tran Quoc. Take a 45-minute tour of the 36 guilds of the famous Old Quarter by cyclo, the Vietnamese version of the rickshaw. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

 

Day 2 : Ha Noi – Mai  Chau - Hanoi (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel. Early departure in the morning to Mai Chau with a stopover at a local market en route. Lunch. Take part in cultural exchange with the Muong ethnic group.In the afternoon, visit a village of the White Thai minority. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Dinner at local restaurant.

 

Day 3 : Hanoi (B)

Free & easy all day. Depending on your flight schedule, this day can be alternatively spared for the city tour if the time is not enough for the 1st day.

 

Day 4 : Ha Noi – But Thap – Ha Long (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Presiden Ho Chi Minh‘s Mausoleum and His stilt house,the  One Pillar Pagoda. Lunch.  Then proceed to Ha Long Bay with a visit to the 17th century But Thap Pagoda en route. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Ha Long.

 

Day 5 : Ha Long – Ha Noi (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Ha Long Tourist Pier to board a sailing junk for a 5 hours cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald water of the wonderful Ha Long bay recognized as the World Heritage. Lunch on board with seafood. In the afternoon, drive back to Ha Noi. Enjoy a water puppet show. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Ha Noi.

 

Day 6 : Ha Noi – Hue (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Noi Bai airport to take a short flight to Viet Nam’s central city of Hue. Hue is the former capital of Vietnam under the Tay Son dynasty and the Nguyen dynasties of emperors ruled from 1802 till 1945. Guests are welcomed by NTS guide on arrival in Hue airport and transfer to Hue city for hotel check in. Visit the elaborate mausoleum of former emperor Tu Duc. Then visit Khai Dinh emperor’s tomb. Enjoy a stroll by cyclo along old shady streets to Dong Ba market. Royal costumed dinner with traditional music performance of Hue. Overnight in Hue.

 

Day 7 : HueDa Nang – Hoi An (B.L.D)

Breakfast at hotel.  Check out and take a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda and then re-join the coach for a tour of the Imperial Citadel. En route to Danang. Lunch in Lang Co Beach Resort before having the spectacular Pass of Ocean Clouds. Arrive in Danang, visit to the Cham Museum, which contains the finest and biggest collection of Champ sculpture in the world. Then, transfer to the charming ancient town and former trading port of Hoi An. Arrive in Hoi An, check-in hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Hoi An.

 

Day 8 : Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An (B.L.D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a trip to My Son Holy see, one of the World Heritages in Viet Nam. The site is at 50 km far from Hoi An town.  Return to Hoi An for lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on Thu Bon River and relax at the Cua Dai beach. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

 

Day 9 : Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh (B.L.D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Discover the ancient town of Hoi An recognized as the World Heritage with the ancient streets, houses, bridge temple, Taoist temple and local Hoi An market. Check out the hotel. Lunch. Transfer to Danang Airport to fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Guests are welcomed by NTS guide on arrival in Tan San Nhat airport and transferred to the hotel. A panoramic city tour to Saigon downtown with a stopover at the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, and the Reunification Hall. Dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 10 : Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B.L)

Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the War Remnant Museum, the French colonial quarter, Cholon, the city’s Chinatown, with a discovery of Thien Hau pagoda and Binh Tay market. At Binh Tay market, the largest in Ho Chi Minh City, there is 30 minute free time for shopping. Leaving Chinatown for a visit to a lacquer ware factory. Lunch. A stroll in Dong Khoi street, the fashionable Rue Catinat of old Saigon and free time until transfer to the Tan San Nhat Airport for the departure.
