Day 1 : Arrival - Ho Chi Minh City (D)
Arrival at Tan San Nhat airport. Welcome by NTS guide and transfer to your hotel. Check in hotel. A city tour includes the Central Post Office, the Church of Notre Dame de Saigon, the City Hall, the Reunification hall. Dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City (B.L.D)
Breakfast at your hotel. Excursion to Cu Chi tunnel, 75 km northwest of Saigon. The tunnels are a 250 km long network dug during the war. Stop at a rice paper workshop. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit China town, stop at a Chinese temple dedicated to several gods such as the Sea Goddess, the Money God, the Mother God. Then continue to Binh Tay wholesale market. Shopping. Dinner with a traditional music and dance show. Night at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Ben Tre – Ho Chi Minh – Nha Trang (B.L.D)
After breakfast, drive to My Tho with a stopover at Vinh Trang pagoda. Enjoy a nice boat trip along Tien river, the largest branch of the Mekong River, to the Turtle Island. Stop at family-run workshops producing coconut candies, handicrafts made from coconut wood. Continue the boat trip along An Khanh canal to a fruit garden to taste seasonal fruits, honey tea and enjoy a short local musical performance. Ride the local sampans along the narrow canals to come back the boat. Lunch at nice Mekong Rest Stop restaurant. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Dinner at a local restaurant. Transfer to Saigon railway station to take train “E2” to Nha Trang (departure at 23:00, distance of 411 km). Night on board.
Day 4 : Nha Trang (B.L.D)
Arrival at Nha Trang Railway Station at 06:04. Transfer to your hotel for breakfast. The tour includes a short city tour and a boat trip in Nha Trang Bay to visit Tri Nguyen aquarium. Lunch. The afternoon is free time for swimming. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Nha Trang.
Day 5 : Nha Trang (B.L.D)
Breakfast at your hotel. Visit the Ponagar tower dedicated to the Champa Mother of the Country. Continue a visit to Long Son pagoda situated on a slope of Trai Thuy mountain followed by a surprising visit to a farmer’s house outside. Lunch. Free afternoon for swimming. Dinner and night at your hotel.
Day 6 : Nha Trang – Da Nang (by train) – Hoi An (B.L.D)
Morning call at 04:00. Check out and breakfast. Leave your hotel at 05:30 to Nha Trang railway station to take train “E2” to Da Nang (departure at 06:09), distance 524 km). You will have a nice trip with beautiful landscapes : mountain, sea, beach, rice field, vegetation … Arrive in Da Nang at 14:39. Transfer and visit Cham museum where visitors will explore the biggest collection of Champa age-old cultures and fine arts. Continue the road to Hoi An, stop at Non Nuoc to visit Marble mountain. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Hoi An.
Day 7 : Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An (B.L.D)
Breakfast at your hotel. Drive to the Cham holy see of My Son recognized as the World Heritage by the UNESCO. Return to Hoi An for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the World Heritage of Hoi An ancient town with Hoi An museum, ancient houses, temple bridge, Taoist Chinese temple and Hoi An market. Dinner and night at hotel in Hoi An.
Day 8 : Hoi An – Hue (B.L.D)
Breakfast at your hotel. Drive to Hue through the Pass of Cloud. Photo stop at the top of the hill, at Lang Co village and beach for a rest. Photo stop at exotic Phu Loc fishing village. Lunch at a local restaurant in Hue. In the afternoon, visit the elaborate mausoleums of former emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Enjoy royally costumed dinner with traditional music of Hue. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 9 : Hue – Ha Noi (by train) (B.L.D)
Breakfast. Take a boat trip on the Perfume river to visit the pagoda of Thien Mu, the Imperial Citadel and Royal Palace. Lunch. Check out. Continue to visit the Mausoleum of former Emperor Minh Mang. A stroll in Dong Ba market. Transfer to Hue railway station to take train “E2” to Ha Noi (departure at 17:21, distance: 688 km). Dinner and overnight on train.
Day 10 : Ha Noi (B.L.D)
Early morning arrival in Ha Noi (at 5:30). Transfer to your hotel. Check in. Breakfast. Visit President Ho’s mausoleum and his stilt house. Then proceed to the One-pillar pagoda, the temple of Literature and the army museum. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Ha Noi.
Day 11 : Ha Noi – Tu Son – Ha Long Bay (B.L.D)
Breakfast. Drive to Tu Son for a visit to the famous communal house of Dinh Bang village and to Den Do temple dedicated to the Ly Thai To King. Enjoy Bac Ninh folk songs and dance (Quan ho Bac Ninh). Continue the road to Ha Long Bay, the World Heritage. Embark a sailing junk for an excursion on the emerald water of Ha Long Bay that look like a paradise comprising more than 3,000 islands and islets on an area of 1,500 square kilometers. Lunch and dinner with seafood. Overnight on board.
Day 12 : Ha Long – Ha Noi (B.L.D)
Breakfast. Continue the excursion in Ha Long Bay. Lunch on board. Disembark and drive back to Ha Noi through Hai Phong, the biggest port city of the North of Viet Nam for a panoramic city tour. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Ha Noi.
Day 13 : Ha Noi – Huong Pagoda – Ha Noi (B.L.D)
After breakfast at hotel, enjoy an excursion to Huong pagoda, 85 km far from Ha Noi. Take a boat trip on a lovely stream to the mountain pilgrimage caves with pagodas. Lunch. Back to Ha Noi. In the evening, transfer to Thang Long theatre to enjoy a performance of Ha Noi ‘s famous water puppet performance before having dinner. Overnight at your hotel in Ha Noi.
Day 14 : Ha Noi – Departure (B.L)
Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning visit the Lake of the Restored Sword, Ngoc Son Temple, the 36 guilds of the famous Old Quarter. Shopping. Lunch. Transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for departure.
