A day trip to My Son and Hoi An will give visitors a glimpse of the Cham Holy Land of My Son and the ancient town of Hoi An. Boths are listed as the world heritages by UNESCO. In the morning, drive to My Son Cham Holysee. The site is at 75 kms far from Da Nang and at 50 kms far from Hoi An. My Son Holy Land was constructed by King Bhadravarman I of the Cham Kingdom in the 4th century. Here Gods of Hinduism in Champa kingdom were worshipped. Originally there were about 70 towers, now there remain to be only over 20 towers, square and built of red bricks without mortar, typical of the architectural art of the Cham people. Lunch at the Pho Hoi garden restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the ancient town of Hoi An which used to be a crowded and bustling commercial seaport in Southeast Asia 3 to 4 centuries ago, and hundreds of houses were built of precious wood in an original style of architecture. Visitors will have a discovery of Hoian Museum, ancient streets, wooden houses, bridge temple, chinese taoist temple and local Hoian market. Return to Da Nang. (D.)
