Hanoi – Sapa – Can Cau Saturday Market – Hanoi
Day 1 (Friday) : Hanoi – Sapa
Take the overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train.
Day 2 (Saturday) : Lao Cai – Can Cau Saturday market – Sapa
Arrive at Lao Cai in early morning. After breakfast, drive to the Can Cau Saturday market. Spend the morning wandering through the exotic colours and sights of the ethnic minority market. On the way back to Sapa, visit the palace of an ancient H’mong King. The afternoon is free to explore the Ham Rong Mountain. Dinner and overnigh in Sapa. (B.L.D).
Day 3 (Sunday) : Lao chai – Ta Van – Ta Phin
Morning drive to Lao Chai, starting point for the day’s hike, begin the 6 km trek by descending into a rice-terraced valley. Walk though isolated villages, rice fields, and thatched roof homes where H’mong people live. See the H’mong at work and at play in their distinctive dark blue dress. Continue hiking to the village of Ta Van, one of the few villages in Viet Nam ihabited by the Zay Tribe. Return to Sapa along a scenic ridge line trail. In the afternoon visit Black H’mong, Zay and Red Tzao minority peoples at Ta Phin village before proceeding to Lao Cai train station for overnight train to Hanoi. On the way to Lao Cai, stop to visit the Sino-Vietnamese border at Lao Cai. Overnight on train. (B.L.D).
Day 4 (Monday) : Hanoi
Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel in Hanoi. End of services
