NTS-CR 1 / 1  :  Cai Be-Dong Hoa Hiep (L)

 

Pick up at your hotel in HCMC. with our guide then depart for Cai Be in the Mekong Delta.

 

Our one-day cruise excursion starts from Cai Be departing from Cai Be Tourist pier at around 10.00 am. Upon embarkation on Cai Be Princess junk boat, clients are welcomed with fresh rolled cotton towels.

 

The tour will start with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market. We will proceed by the visit of some local home factories such as rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies, and longans drying processing… You will then return on board Cai Be Princess junk to procceed the excursion to Dong Hoa Hiep island located between Vinh Long and Cai Be. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River still remain unknown to many people.

 

Lunch will await you at An Kiet ancient Mandarin house where Kiet familly descendants will welcome you  with a cup of warm green tea. A nice table set-up will be arranged for you by our Cai Be Princess team with cotton table cloth and nepkins. After lunch and a short walk to visit Kiet orchard, you will again board Cai Be Princess for a 40-minute cruise to discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. Stop on the way can be made upon request for particular visits or photos making.

 

During the cruise, a fresh coconut, green tea, and mineral water will be served free of charge.

 

The excursion will then end at Cai Be pier around 3.30 pm where you will get back to the car for your transfer back to Saigon.

 

 

NTS-CR1 / 2 : Cai Be – Vinh Long (L)

After lunch and a short walk to visit the archard, you will again board Cai Be Princess for a 45-minute cruise to discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. Stop on the way can be made at An Binh ancient Church. During the cruise, a fresh coconut, green tea, and mineral water will be served free of charge. After crossing the Co Chien large river, the excursion will end at Vinh Long pier around 3.30pm, where your own private transportation vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon or to proceed further to your nest destination.

 

NTS-CR 1 / 3 : Cai Be – Vinh Long – Sa Dec (L)

 

Pick up at your hotel in HCMC. with our guide then depart for Cai Be in the Mekong Delta.

 

Our one day cruise excursion starts from Cai Be departing from Cai Be Tourist pier at around 9.30 am. Upon embarkation on Cai Be Princess junk boat, clients are welcomed with fresh rolled cotton towels.

 

The tour will start with the visit of Cai Be colourfull floating market. We will proceed the excursion to Dong Phu, Binh Hoa Phuoc and An Binh islands located between Vinh Long and Cai Be. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River bring about large networks of meadering rivers, criss-crossed with countless arroyos, and remaining unknown to many people. A stop will be made on the way to visit a fruits orchard.

 

Back on board, and after crossing the Co Chien large river, we will cruise under the spectacular My Thuan bridge. A visit will be made at Binh Tan Hoa ancient provincial house built by the french some hundred fifty years ago, and located on the river banks. We will then proceed the cruise up-stream the Tien Giang river, one the two large armes of the Mekong river. While the river is getting more narrow, the river banks are appearing more attractive, with beautiful landscapes. Passing by several traditional bricks and tiles factories along the river, we will have a visit at one of them.

 

Back on cruise, we will reach Sa Dec at around 1.00 pm. After a cruise along narrow canals, we will disembark at the local market place near by the river. A complete visit of Sa Dec charming and peaceful ancient town will be done by walk and/ or by bicycle(*), along its small typical streets. We will visit old chinese temple, catholic church and ancient french indochinese houses dating from over a hundred years, including the former residence of Marguerite Duras famous writer and the primary school where her mother was  teaching (M. Duras novel turned into a famous movie, “The Lover”).

 

The excursion will end at around 3.30 pm. Your own private transportation vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon or will proceed further to your next destination.

*** For individuals until 14 persons : a pic-nique lunch will be served on the boat while  cruising.

Our two-day cruise excursion starts from Cai Be departing from Cai Be Tourist pier at around 10.00 am. Upon embarkation on Cai Be Princess junk boat, clients are welcomed with fresh rolled cotton towels.

After checking-in, your guide will lead you for a walk along Vinh Long narrow typical and busy streets. Dinner at hotel(*). Overnight(*).

 

On the second Day, wake up will be as early as 5.00 am, then after your breakfast at hotel’s restaurant, you will embark again on board Cai Be Princess leaving Ving Long at 6 am cruising down to Can Tho province.

While approaching, canals and rivers are getting larger, water palm trees and coconut trees more numerous on the banks and big boats are announcing the proximity of the sea…

 

At around 8.00 am, we will visit Cai Rang colourfull floating market where local people on board numerous rowing sampans are buying daily fruits and vegetables coming from all provinces located nearby. The activity is dense and picturesque. A stop at Can Tho Ninh Kieu pier, for a short walking tour to the local market place where the activity is at its maximum.

We will then proceed the cruise to Victoria hotel. A lunch will await you, then you will be able to use the hotel’s swimming pool located in a lush tropical garden (incl. changing room and towel) until 03.00 pm. At 03.30 pm, you will be ready for your transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City by your own private car or coach. End of the services.

 

Nota: In order to ensure a very good comfort to all during this particular 2 days cruise program. Cai Be Princess will carry a restricted amount of 20 passengers only per boat.
