Day 1 : Hue – Dong Hoi

Drive to Dong Hoi through Quang Tri province with a visit to the ruins of the Quang Tri citadel and Bo De pagoda vistige. Explore DMZ with Doc Mieu and the history bridge of Hien Luong at 17th parallele that was temporary border between the North and the South of the country of Viet Nam according to the Geneve Agreement. Visit the tunnel of Vinh Moc. Lunch and free time for swimming at the beautiful sandy beach of Dong Hoi. Dinner and overnight at Sun Spa Resort

 

Day 2 :  Dong Hoi – Phong Nha - Hue

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to the site of Phong Nha – Ke Bang, listed as the World Heritage by UNESCO. On arrival, take a boat trip for a visit to the wonderful Phong Nha cave. Lunch in a local restaurant. Return to Hue through a portion of the Ho Chi Minh highway (former Ho Chi Minh trail).
